Recital Fees, Costumes, and Payment Options:

Recital Fee:

In addition to monthly tuition, each student will be assessed a recital fee.

A breakdown of your individual child’s/children’s bill will be given to you at the start of the season once your classes have been selected.  These fees are non-negotiable.

In November we will begin ordering costumes for each class/discipline your child is enrolled in.

The costs that are included in the recital fee are:

  • Costumes: $75 for dancers in a combo class and $80 for older students (note this is per costume/per recital dance)
  • Tights are $12 per pair
  • Finale t-shirt is $10
  • Hairpiece for all new female students $12
  • 4 tickets to the June recital at the cost of $20 each
  • The $20 in-costume photo session sitting fee

The sale of the recital tickets covers the rental fee for the auditorium and other costs associated with producing our great end of the year performance and this number of tickets is non-negotiable.  Each student is allowed one female chaperone who will not need to purchase a ticket to the show.  The recital fee also includes a $20 sitting fee with our photographer for picture day.  Picture day is required of all students as group photos are taken in each costume for each class.  Note, hairpieces are a one time purchase and will be used for future years.

Recital Payment Options:

At the start of the season you will be asked to choose one of the following recital payment options and your online account will be billed accordingly.

Option 1: One time payment – 100% of the recital bill to be paid by November 15th at a discount of 5%. Cash, Check, Credit or Debit cards are accepted. Families who choose this option are also entered into a separate drawing to have their four pre-paid recital tickets upgraded to Reserved Front Row seating!

Option 2: Three Payments – Your bill will be broken down into 3 payments as follows:

  • 50% due by November 15th of the current season
  • 25% due by December 15th of the current season
  • 25% due by January 15th of the current season

Only Credit or Debit cards are accepted.  This will be automatically processed on your card on file. Families who choose this option are also entered into a separate drawing to have their four pre-paid recital tickets upgraded to Reserved Front Row seating!

Option 3: Five Payments:  Your bill will be added into your monthly tuition from November – March in 5 equal payments and will be due on the 15th of each month.  Only Credit or Debit cards are accepted. This will be automatically processed on your card on file.

As always, no costumes, tickets and other recital purchases will be distributed until 100% of all balances are up to date.  NO exceptions will be made.

Should your child drop out of a class after costumes have been ordered you are still responsible for paying the costume fee.

Nutcracker Fees:

The studio performs the Nutcracker every other year and 2016 is a Nutcracker year! This fun community building holiday performance involves every student.  Unlike the June performance, the kids will rent the costumes they will wear in this show.  This helps to keep costs down for our families and makes things easier for us to organize.  The rental fee covers the cost of dry cleaning each costume which we must do per the board of health each time it is worn.  The rental fee is $20 for each costume your child will be wearing. This $20 fee will be automatically be processed to your account.  There is not a rental fee for our 3/4 and 4/5 year old combo classes who wear their own holiday attire. Costumes will be given out in December.
